We love having kids involved at HMBC! Our committed teachers share the importance of knowing Jesus in a personal way and take the time to know the students individually. Time together with students up through the 5th grade includes music, scripture memory, studying scripture and having fun together. All of these things are done in a variety of age-appropriate ways. We invite you to bring your children and have them experience Children’s Ministry at Hillsboro MB!
Nursery
Our goal is to begin a child’s church-life in a safe & loving environment—where the love of Jesus is experienced from the very beginning.
Located down the hall of the Children’s Wing, the nursery area is designed with your baby in mind. It is a safe and secure place for us to care for your little ones. Check in your infant at the drop-off desk. The nursery has two areas, one for infants/crawlers with a separate crib room and the second area is designed for walkers up to age 3.
If you choose to bring your infant into the morning service, please make use of our Mother’s Room, located right off the gathering space, where you may feed or change your baby in a quiet and private setting.
THE NURSERY IS STAFFED AT THE FOLLOWING TIMES:
Sunday: 9:15 a.m. through the end of the morning service.
Wednesday: 6:40 – 8:00 p.m., Nursery is available for children of parents participating in the evening activities at HMBC.

Toddlers through Kindergarten children are at wonderful ages and we have dedicated teachers that look forward to spending time with your child during the Sunday School hour and on Wednesday evenings. They want to get to know your child and help them learn about Jesus in a personal way. Our loving teachers will also work with your child on Bible verse memorization to help your child develop a strong foundation as they grow in Christ.

GRADES 1ST – 5TH These kids are at an exciting learning time in their lives and are beginning to understand the Biblical truths and lifestyles taught through interactive Bible study, Kids’ Worship Time and more.
CHILDREN AGES 4TH – 5TH grades are given an opportunity to give offering money back to God each week which is sent to a home mission or overseas mission need. The designated giving project each year is determined by the Children and Family Pastor and Children’s Ministry Board.
These classes meet in the rooms surrounding the assembly room in the Children’s Wing.
