Plan Your Visit
Thanks for taking the time to visit our website. You will find HMBC to be a friendly place with a deep love for God and all people! We are not a perfect family but we are one that has found life and purpose in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We are a family in which you will feel both loved and challenged. Loved, because every person matters to God and therefore matters to us. Challenged, through the Word of God to walk daily in a way that brings glory to God. We are committed to seeing Marion County and beyond impacted with the gospel and we are also called to serve in such a way that our neighbors are attracted to to our life-giving Savior. We hope you will join us and quickly find a home here where you and those you love can live out God’s calling on your life as you follow Him. Feel free to browse the website and if you have further questions, reach out to one of our staff.
Dress
Because we are a diverse group of people you will find people dressing a variety of ways. Some prefer to dress more traditionally in a suit, tie or a dress and some prefer to wear a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. The emphasis is not on what you wear but on fellowship, worship and learning together.
Welcome Table
We hope that if you need directions or just have a question, you will stop by the Welcome Table in the Foyer. We might not always know the answer to your question, but we’ll work hard to find it.
Sunday Morning
Sunday services at Hillsboro MB include messages from God’s word that are practical and relevant to life. The music experience involves a blending of traditional and contemporary styles, and, along with a variety of other elements, our goal for Sunday services is to facilitate passionate and honest worship of God and to open our hearts to the life transformation He desires to bring. The service begins at 10:30 AM.
Before the service, adult, youth and children Sunday school classes meet at 9:15 AM. We encourage you to visit several classes and “shop” for the class that fits you best once classes resume as normal.
