You are invited to join us this evening at 6:30 PM in the Hearth Room to hear our missionary Paul Raugust share about their ministry in France.  There will be time of prayer for the Raugusts and a time of fellowship with icecream and cookies.

For the next three Sundays, including today, we will give our teachers a much needed and deserved respite.  There will be no G5 Kids or Jr. High Sunday School Classes until Sunday, August 16!

Next Sunday, August 2 at 4 PM, the team that traveled to Saratoga Springs Utah to help host a sports camp as well as a VBS will share highlights from their time serving.  THis sharing time will take place at ParkviewChurch.

If you consider HMBC to be your church home and if you will be enrolled full time at Tabor College this fall, please take a few moments to fill out the Church Matching Scholarship on the HMBC app under the Resources tab.  HMBC will contribute an amount which will be matched by Tabor College

Tabor Sunday is quickly approaching! On Sunday, August 23 we will welcome around 200 students to our morning worship service.  Following the service all are invited to join the students for a potluck lunch.  If you call HMBC your church home, we'd love to have your help providing the food for the potluck as well as donating money or gifts to have a wealth of door prizes to give to students!  

The church family is providing all the food, so we need everyone’s help to make it a great meal!

• Every Family: Bring a Main Dish
• A–J Last Names: Main Dish + Salad or Side Dish
• K–Z Last Names: Main Dish + Dessert

A Note from the Kitchen: Please bring enough food to feed your family plus 5 to 6 college kids. Also, if possible, please bring main dishes in crock pots or fully precooked dishes that just need warming so the kitchen team can keep things running smoothly. Thank you for your generosity!

Tabor Connections is coordinating door prizes and money donations to help provide a $5 Rhubarb Market gift certificate to all the Tabor students in attendance on Tabor Sunday.  Tabor students will receive a gift card when they come plus we will have door prizes following the potluck meal.  For the door prizes you can bring gift certificates, especially from local businesses, food items; such as puppy chow, cookies, pies, cinnamon rolls etc. , plus experiences that you can provide such as BBQ for 6 or meal for a mod.  Your donations can be brought to the church office during the week or Welcome table on Sundays.

On Saturday, August 15, we have reserved the pool at the Delores Dalke Aquatic Center for our church. Everyone is invited and you are encouraged to invite friends, neighbors or coworkers who might enjoy spending an evening at the pool. Even if you don't want to get in the water, bring your lawnchair and just come and enjoy the fellowship! We will have a cannonball contest with a prize and we will enjoy icecream and toppings to help us stay cool at the pool!
