Rainforest Falls VBS begins this Monday evening from 6:30 - 8:30 PM.  If you have not registered your child or a child you know would love our VBS, there is still time.  Just go to our website, hillsboromb.com, and get them registered.  If you signed up to bring snacks please bring them to the church kitchen by Monday afternoon.  If you are volunteering in any way for VBS, please plan on coming to the training/information meeting on Sunday at 2:30 PM.  We will follow this meeting by transforming the church into a rainforest!

It's that time of year again!  The Annual Fair Supper is right around the corner on Wednesday, July 22 from 4:30 - 7:00.  We hope you will plan to join us for the high school fundraiser.  We will be serving homemade chicken noodle soup, borscht, hot burgers, bread and pie!  Please check your mailbox for more details and a flyer that you can use to sign up to help with bringing cooked hamburger, pies or bread!  

The churches in Hillsboro will be collecting snacks to send with our large team to Camp Barnabas.  HMBC is asked to donate - beef sticks and beef jerky, goldfish or whales, Cheez-Its, Oreos or other packaged cookies, and gluten-free snacks.  The team is also accepting cash donations to purchase on-site refreshments.  For any questions please contact Sara Rempel or Janet Whisenhunt.  All donations can be left off in the church office.

Be praying for Joel and Cindy Groening as Cindy's father passed away about a week ago. Pray for the Lord's comfort and peace during this time. Pray that their time in the states for his service will be healing and fruitful.
ADDITIONAL NOTE FROM THE GLOBAL OUTREACH TEAM:
Our missionary Cody D. has the opportunity to purchase a vehicle in his host country. The car would enable him to drive to his contacts in a timely manner. Please consider this request in your charity. We are actually getting very close to the goal! Please have any donations in by July 19 so that the money can then be sent to Cody. You can write a check to HMBC with a note "Cody's Vehicle" or you can give online and choosing the "Vehicle for Cody D" fund from the drop down menu.
