To all Tabor College 2026 graduates who have called HMBC their church home during their time at Tabor, we want to CONGRATULATE you on completing your degree.  We wish you God's best as  you go out into the world to make the world more as God intended it to be.

This coming Friday, May 1, we have the opportunity to participate in hi-five Friday at Hillsboro Elementary School.  If you would like to participate, be at the Elementary School by 7:20 AM.

Camp David, located near Hesston, KS, is a ministry that offers summer camp experiences to youth in either the foster care system or children of prisoners.  This summer, Camp David would like to gift a backpack to each youth that attends one of their camps.  They have reached out to area churches to give them  the opportunity to partner with them to  meet this goal.  In the foyer, we have large bags with all the instructions and information.  If you and/or your family would like to participate, please stop by and pick up one of these bags.  The deadline for bags in May 31, so make sure to take this opportunity soon!  

Sponsoring a backpack requires you fill the bag with the included list of items that will help the youth during camp week.  This will be somewhere around $35.  You are also asked to add $15 so that camp staff can buy a birthday gift for the youth, since many of these youth do not receive birthday gifts.  Other organizations will be providing the actual backpack as well as a Bible to go in each one.  At the end of the summer, you will receive a thank you note from the camper that received your backpack!

The new 2026 pictorial directory is out.  Please check your church mailbox for your copy.  If you do not have a church mailbox, drop by the welcome booth or the church office to pick up a copy today!  (And if you'd like a church mailbox, please let Miriam in the office know!)

Our Children's Church ministry needs some more willing volunteers!  If this is an area where you would like to use your God given talents, you would be put on a rotation.  Children's Church is offered every Sunday morning for about one hour for ages 3-5.
