It's Tabor Sunday!  A huge HMBC welcome to all of the Tabor students, staff and/or faculty that have joined us to worship this morning.  We pray that you will feel at home, that you will feel seen and loved, and that you will hear from God in a special way this morning.  Please join the rest of our congregation for a potluck meal following the worship service in our Fellowship Hall.  There will be lots of great food, a fun game, and lots of door prizes for you to win.  Then come back at 7 PM to connect with others at our Bunco Night!  If you've never played Bunco, it super easy to learn, and will be a great way to get to know other students and others from the community.  AND there will be icecream treats.

If you are a teacher or assistant in our G5 Kids Wednesday night programming, we invite you to join us for an important training opportunity, this Wednesday, August 26 in the Hearth Room.

Join us next week, Sunday, August 30 for Baptism Sunday.  We will be baptizing and welcoming into membership four individuals.  We will also welcome several others into membership.  Baptism Sundays are always special as we hear testimonies of how God is working.  We hope you will be here to support and welcome our new members.

HMBC Men's Ministry will be hosting their annual Golf and Grub on Sunday, August 30 beginning at 4:15 PM at the Hillsboro Municipal Golf Course. Grub will be served at 5 PM, drawing for prizes will happen at 5:30 PM and tee time will be at 6 PM. After playing the course there will be homemade ice cream served at 8 PM. Again, for food purposes, men and boys are asked to sign up at the men's ministry table in the foyer. NOTE: there will be disc golf available as well!
